– REFLECTION
In all honesty, I have implemented rubrics as grading tools for faculty and never paid them too much attention. I can see how they’re invaluable for students, giving them clear guidelines and a deeper sense of fairness to the grading process. I haven’t thought too much about how they could be beneficial for the instructor, however, until now. That same sense of absolute clarity and fairness applied evenly is sure to improve my grading abilities later on in my life.
